Some plans even become obsolete once an entrepreneur gets their business off the ground. All successful entrepreneurs must start off with a plan, but if you start doing something totally different, it doesn’t mean you won’t succeed.
In short: don’t forget to create a plan. Even if you deviate from it at some point, having none is important.
Forget Your Vision And Your ‘Why’
Whatever stage you’re at in your business, you can’t forget your vision or your ‘why’. You need to develop a clear vision for your business right at the start, as this will help you to put your plans together and get a good idea of where you’re looking to get to. You can keep your vision in mind through everything you do and every decision you make, and it’ll help you to ensure you’re going in the right direction.
Your ‘why’ is also extremely important. Your why is the thing that’s going to keep you going when times get hard. Never forget why you started your business in the first place. What sort of lifestyle do you envision for yourself? What kind of people are you helping, and why? What sort of an impact do you want to make on the world? All of these things can help you to create your very own why.
Miscalculate Your Finances And Other Numbers
Getting your finances and other business numbers wrong could be a bad idea, especially if you’re looking to get a loan or some kind of investment.
